About
It's nice to meet you.
Hello, visitor! I'm Anouk Fontaine, a UX Designer and BI Analyst at the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) in Bern, Switzerland, where I help colleagues make better decisions through intuitive tools and interfaces. You can talk to me in French, (Swiss) German, English, or a mix of all three.
I've worked across public administration, finance, human resources, and the hotel industry, giving me firsthand insight into a wide range of organizational challenges. My constant drive to make things easier for both my colleagues and myself has led me to apply UX design principles in every role I've held, whether UX was part of my job title or not. If you're curious about my journey, feel free to explore my detailed LinkedIn profile .
My Master's degree in Business Administration, combined with further education in UX design and data visualization, allows me to bridge business strategy, analytical thinking, and user experience.
I care about harmony, both in my designs and in the teams I work with. I'm always eager to learn, preferably by doing, which is how I ended up coding this entire portfolio myself while expanding my skills in web development. I also believe that humour makes collaboration and problem-solving better.
